Homemade Barbecue Sauce

This is the recipe for my own barbecue sauce. It has a lot of ingredients, but I hope you enjoy. This is a perfect pairing for ribs, brisket, pulled pork, pork chops, and so much more. I promise that the time is worth it and you will never go back to buying store bought barbecue sauce.

  • 1 Cup Ketchup
  • 1 Cup Bourbon or Scotch (I use Maker’s Mark for bourbon)
  • 1/4 Cup Heinz Chili Sauce
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp of Apple Jelly
  • 1/2 Cup Light Molasses
