Easy Pizza Dough
This is perhaps the easiest pizza dough I know how to make and the best part is? It can be done in a food processor! This simple dough can be used for your favorite pizzas or my favorite, calzones.
Ingredients:
- 2-2 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 Packet of Active Dry Yeast
- 1 Tsp Sugar
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 3/4 Cup Warm Water (try to aim between 105°F and 115°F)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder (optional)
- 1 Tsp Onion Powder (optional)
Directions:
- Add your flour, yeast, sugar, and salt into a food processor and pulse a few times to mix.
- Pour in your water and oil and pulse until a shaggy dough forms.
- Place your dough onto a floured surface and shape into a ball before placing into a greased bowl and covering it. (I personally use plastic wrap and then a towel over mine.)
- Let rise for 1-3 hours depending on time in a warm environment.
- Once done simple pour out of your bowl, shape, and use.
Notes:
- This recipe makes 2 decently sized calzones for me and can also probably 2 small individual sized pizzas instead. If you need more, simple double the recipe.
